Success is the brain-child of everything negative

Success is the brain-child of pain, negativity, suffering and pessimism.
I’ll let you think about that for a second..
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed” – Michael Jordan
“Everything negative - pressure, challenges - is all an opportunity for me to rise” – Kobe Bryant
“I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion” – Muhammad Ali
Success is something that is bred from everything negative.. It’s all about perspective. Doesn’t make sense? Ok, well let me put it this way:
When you are going through a particularly difficult chapter of your life, you can either give up (close the book) or turn the page over and continue. You’ll only realise how strong you are and what you’re made of when you are being challenged by something.
If a particular moment of your life right now is crappy, that means success is close. Persevere and change your perspective. Think of it as a time to go further than you have ever pushed yourself. Destroy your boundaries.
When asked about inventing the light bulb, Thomas Edison was quoted as saying: “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
Success is not about giving up, but finding the strength to persevere even through the toughest of times.
